Corrosion Materials is proud to announce another major addition to our comprehensive, in-house material cutting capabilities.
Introducing our new Flow Mach 500 waterjet cutting system, installed and ready to process your nickel alloy sheet and plate requirements quickly and accurately.
The environmentally friendly processing method utilizes a 94,000 psi stream of water mixed with garnet, as the abrasive, to cut material in a cold state, leaving a smooth surface with no heat-affected zone or edge hardening. While providing good, precise tolerances with minimal post-process cleaning and finishing, waterjet cutting can also produce a very square and smooth cut face.
Standard & Custom Shapes to Your Precise Dimensions
Utilizing a 120” x 312” cutting envelope, our Flow Mach 500 allows us to process a wide range of material thicknesses to very precise dimensions, handling your most challenging processed sheet and plate requirements.
We can cut standard shapes, such as rectangles, squares, circles, rings or strips, to custom shapes with or without holes or slots. Our state-of-the-art CNC waterjets can also produce near-net shapes; potentially eliminating further processing or finish machining on the part. We can help you reduce, or even eliminate extra scrap costs.
