Corrosion Materials’ CNC Waterjet Cutting

Waterjet cutting is an environmentally friendly processing method that utilizes a high-pressure stream of water mixed with a garnet abrasive to cut material in a cold state, leaving a smooth surface with no heat-affected zone or edge hardening. While providing precise tolerances, waterjet cutting can also produce a very square and smooth cut face resembling a sand-blasted surface. You can utilize waterjet cutting to produce a near-net shape that could potentially eliminate further processing or finish machining on the part, while also reducing scrap costs.

Standard & Custom Shapes to Your Precise Specifications

Corrosion Materials’ state-of-the-art CNC waterjets allow us to process a wide range of material thicknesses to very precise dimensions, handling your most challenging processed sheet and plate requirements. We can cut standard shapes, such as rectangles, squares, circles, rings or strips. We can also provide custom shapes to your print, including  interior cutouts.

Efficient & Accurate

Our equipment allows us to create the most efficient waterjet cut path for your parts, including:

  • Importing CAD files
  • Building CAD files
  • Creating CAD files from an imported image

Our Waterjet Cutting Systems combine unmatched accuracy with the fastest acceleration in waterjet:

  • Acceleration improvement of approximately 200%
  • 2X improvement in repeatability
  • Up to 50% increase in Z travel compared to conventional equipment
