The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is an agency of the United States Department of Labor commonly referred to as “OSHA”. The department was created in 1970 to assure safe and healthful working conditions.
At Corrosion Materials, we have a strong safety program meeting OSHA requirements. In addition to meeting basic safety and health requirements, we are continuously striving to improve.
OSHA’s Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) is the next level; elevating Corrosion Materials as a model for worksite safety and health. The SHARP certification recognizes small business employers who have used OSHA’s On-site Consultation Program services and operate an exemplary injury and illness prevention program. OSHA’s acceptance of a worksite into SHARP is an achievement of status that singles a company out among business peers as a model for worksite safety and health. Our SHARP induction has done just that.
Our Safety Vision Statement: Corrosion Materials is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and visitors with the ultimate goal of providing the safest work environment possible. We will ensure that policies and procedures are developed and adopted at all locations that will best protect our employees, visitors, equipment and facilities.
