We have recently expanded our pipe, fittings and flanges inventory in Houston, Texas. Now, with local inventory ready for shipment, we have the ability to service clients more quickly and efficiently than before. With a number of alloys in stock, we have the corrosion resistant solutions for your most critical applications.
Alloys such as C276. This alloy is known as the most universally corrosion resistant material available today. It is used in a variety of environments from moderately oxidizing to strong reducing conditions. Alloy C276 has excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and to oxidizing atmospheres. C276 also exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion by seawater especially under crevice conditions, which induce attack in other commonly used materials.
Also available is Alloy 400. This beauty exhibits resistance to corrosion by many reducing media. Also, it is one of the few alloys that can be used in contact with fluorine, hydrofluoric acid, hydrogen fluoride or their derivatives. Exceptional resistance has been proven in hydrofluoric acid in all concentrations up to the boiling point. Alloy 400 is also resistant to many forms of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids under reducing conditions. Behavior in seawater is also excellent.
Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron, solid solution strengthened alloy used for applications that require corrosion and high-temperature resistance. Service temperatures for Alloy 600 can be from cryogenic to 2000°F. Application of the alloy is useful in the chemical, pulp and paper, aerospace and heat treating industries to name a few.
If you’re in need of an alloy typically used for applications involving long-term exposure to high-temperatures where resistance is needed from oxidation, carburization and other types of high-temperature corrosion, we have the Alloy 800 H/HT. Hydrocarbon processing, heat-treat furnaces and power generation are some of the most common applications where 800H & 800HT® is utilized.
